We’re excited to host a growing lineup of workshops at Acadia Yoga & Movement—offering deeper dives into movement, mindfulness, and overall well-being. These special sessions create space to explore new practices, learn from experienced teachers, and connect more meaningfully with yourself and the community. From technique-focused intensives and guest instructors to wellness offerings that complement your time on the mat, our workshops are designed to support curiosity, growth, and a sense of shared experience. Rowga: A Workshop
Friday, July 17, 4:30pm-5:45pm: Improve flexibility, build functional strength, and support injury prevention through yoga postures, mobility work, breathwork, and mindful movement at this special workshop for rowers and other athletes.
Yog-Aerobics
Friday, July 10, 4:30pm to 5:30pm: Get ready to move, groove, and smile your way through this high-energy fusion of classic aerobics and yoga set to the feel-good sounds of Motown.
Mantras, Mudras & Mocktails
Sunday, August 2, 2:30–4:30pm: Led by Amanda Peaslee and Linda Prichard. Practice the ancient art of Naad Yoga, feel the wisdom of Mudras as we use hand positions to lock in energy, and enjoy the delicious weaving of science, nature and spirit into botanical mocktails that support the beautiful complexity of being human.
R&R Workshop
Sunday, August 16, 4:30pm to 6:30pm: Nourish the body, calm the mind, and lift the spirit. This workshop has been thoughtfully designed to bring rest to the physical body and relaxation to the energetic body through a two-hour practice of restorative yoga and ReiKi.
Release and Reset: Somatic Movement for Nervous System Support
Sunday, August 21, 4:30pm to 5:30pm: Led by Emma Schurink, this gentle, restorative class in Somatic Experiencing helps your nervous system return to its natural rhythm by guiding you through slow waves of movement and rest.
